Delivery

Delivery is included in the £700 per tonne price for UK mainland addresses. No carriage charges, no fuel surcharges, no minimum-spend threshold beyond the one tonne minimum order.

Where we deliver at the standard rate

England, Wales and mainland Scotland.

The following are not covered by the standard rate: Scottish Highlands and far north postcodes, all offshore islands (including the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish islands, Scilly Isles), Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands. We can usually still deliver to these areas — get in touch and we will quote you.

Lead time

Typically 3–5 working days from order. You will receive a notification from the pallet carrier with your delivery date. If you need a specific date or a timed delivery, tell us at the point of order and we will do what we can.

How the pallet arrives

Your tonne arrives as a single shrink-wrapped pallet of 15kg bags, delivered by a pallet network on an HGV with a tail lift.

Delivery is kerbside. The driver will lower the pallet from the vehicle and move it to the nearest safe, accessible point of hard standing at your address. Drivers use a manual pallet truck, which needs firm, level ground — they cannot move a pallet across gravel, grass, mud or a steep slope, and they cannot take it into a building, through a gate, round the back, or up steps.

Please make sure there is somewhere suitable to leave a pallet, and that someone is there to accept and sign for it.

Access restrictions

If your address cannot take an articulated lorry — narrow lanes, weight limits, low bridges, restricted access — please tell us when you order so we can arrange a smaller vehicle. Failed deliveries caused by unreported access problems may incur a re-delivery charge from the carrier.

On arrival

Check the pallet before you sign. If the shrink wrap is torn, bags are split, or the load is visibly damaged, note it on the driver’s paperwork and photograph it. Signing clean makes a damage claim considerably harder. Report any problem to us within 48 hours.

Storage once delivered

Get the pallet under cover as soon as you can. The bags are weather-resistant rather than waterproof, and the shrink wrap is for transit, not long-term outdoor storage. Kept dry and off the ground, the pellets will not degrade.
