Why we started
We came to pellets through mycology. Supplying the UK mushroom growing community, the same question kept coming up: where do you get hardwood fuel pellets in quantity without paying garden centre prices and a delivery charge on every bag?
The answer was that you buy a pallet — but almost nobody was set up to sell a single pallet to a small grower without a trade account, a credit application and a phone call. So we built that.
It turns out the same pellet that makes good substrate also makes good smoke and good heat, which is why you will find all three on this site.
How we work
One product, one price, no negotiation required. £700 per tonne including VAT and UK mainland delivery. You can order it in about ninety seconds without speaking to anyone.
We are deliberately not trying to be a fuel merchant with a hundred product lines. We sell one grade of hardwood pellet, we know what is in it, and we would rather tell you it is the wrong product for your appliance than take the order.
